For many of our guests from the Philippines, snow is something they only see in movies. It is a lifelong dream to touch it.
We had the honor of taking a vibrant Filipino community group on a journey to Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage site. As we drove through the mountains, the world turned white.
When we arrived, the historic Gassho-zukuri houses were covered in thick snow, looking exactly like a fairytale. The excitement was explosive! The moment the doors opened, adults turned into children—running into the powder, making their first snowballs, and taking endless photos. Some were even moved to tears.
Driving on snowy mountain roads requires high-level skill and safety. Our professional drivers navigated the icy roads smoothly, ensuring the guests could focus purely on the magic.
"I will never forget this view." Making that dream come true is why we do this job.
